+Much emotion at the moment following the news about OVH! I am wholeheartedly with the teams who are doing their best to face this crisis which will mark the history of the Internet.
|

+For those who have not seen the news, the OVH group saw its Strasbourg datacenter hit by a huge fire which destroyed 1 building out of the 4 in the complex, and heavily affected another building.
|
|
|
+
|
|
|
+Fortunately, there were no injuries. The technicians and security guards on site had the right reflex to evacuate the building which is finally to be completely rebuilt.
|
|
|
+
|
|
|
+It seems that an UPS that has undergone maintenance is suspected to be the cause. I look forward to the new information.
|
|
|
+Luckily, I was not impacted: my site is hosted at home. I depend on OVH's DNS, but no immediate consequence.
|
